The other day while I was cooking dinner, Lily was on her mat playing and Aidan was next to her with his cars. The next thing I hear is "Here comes the car, and Lily's the speed bump."
He's got a green thumb or two:) They are all much bigger right now and some have been re-planted. 1st pic is a pumpkin that is thriving now, the leaves are huge. 2nd pic are wild flowers that are over two inches now. 3rd pic are sunflowers, that are 12 inches now, but need a pick me up...they are looking a little sad. I hope we can save them. The last pic is something he brought , home from school. He said they were beans, but it looks like an assortment.
Have not posted in a while.....been a little busy.
What's new?
Aidan is almost finished with his last year of preschool, our baby will be in kindergarten:( He will have two ceremonies, one for head start and one for preschool. I am going to make him a button blanket for the head start graduation...hope it turns out. He also started swimming lessons, and is a little fish. He is always so excited to go, and has a big smile the entire time and has to wave at us on the side lines. He currently wants to be a fireman, policeman and ambulance guy. He has since given up on an army guy, because he knows that sometimes they don't come back:( He makes us laugh everyday. Lily is almost two months old already! Time flies when you're having fun. She smiles and talks all the time. She loves her changing table, and for some reason is the most talkative during diaper time, but her all time favorite thing to do is to NURSE (as you can tell by her many rolls:) She is around 11lbs and growing at a rapid pace. I love to dress her up, and she already has many dresses, hair bands, cute shoes and socks. Who knew girls could be sooooo fun.
Aidan has been home sick this week, but today he has been feeling great. Aidan and his dad played really hard today. The favorite game was neighvers (neighbors). Aidan has two pop up play tents, one for himself and one for dad. They would deliver things to each others houses....including, but not limited to a real fire extinguisher and hand sanitizer. I know they are crazy, but Aidan loves his daddy. Lily today slept, ate, and pooped.....she did do some smiling and talking also. She is already six weeks, I can't believe it.
I also got Aidan to do some homework, and after he said "I don't know things mom." I said what do you mean. "Well I have to teach the baby, and I don't know things.....like about the Earth." I told him he will learn.
